More Than Just
a Field Trip.
Igniting the next generation of regional innovators.
For Teachers
Bring students along to our event to inspire and spark and interest in STEAM (science, tech, engineering, art and maths) careers. Students can get hands-on with a variety of fun and engaging activities aligned with classroom curriculum to gain confidence and help demystify tech.
With robotics, Micro:bit and coding activities, coupled with careers guidance and the opporunity to meet local industry, this event aims to really connect our local schools with our vibrant tech ecosystem.
Our hands-on learning activities are aligned with the UK National Curriculum and are accessible to all levels from KS1-4 focussed around themes of electricity, design/technology, electronics/engineering and coding. As well as fundamental STEAM activities designed to engage KS1, our careers guidance is particularly suited to Year 8 students. We are happy to provide more information/support if there are any specific learning needs. We welcome groups of sizes up to 50 students and smaller focussed groups with more specific needs. Teaching materials for pre-visit/follow-on classroom engagement available. Please contact us for more details.
